About Me
Senior Systems Engineer.
Infrastructure Architect.
Tampa, FL · Cleared · 15+ years building and migrating enterprise infrastructure for government and commercial organizations.
Background
I'm Alain Baylosis, a Senior Systems Engineer currently embedded at MacDill Air Force Base supporting Peraton. My career has been built on solving the hard infrastructure problems — the migrations nobody wants to plan, the decommissions that have to be documented down to the last server, and the virtual desktop environments that absolutely cannot go down.
My specialty is enterprise virtualization and migration planning. I've worked extensively with Citrix (CVAD, Citrix Cloud, StoreFront, NetScaler, WEM), VMware Horizon, Azure Virtual Desktop, and Microsoft Intune. I don't just configure these platforms — I architect the full transition from legacy to modern, including the runbooks, compatibility matrices, rollback procedures, and end-user communication plans.
At DHS and through subsequent contracts, I developed a consistent methodology: assess the environment thoroughly, plan for failure modes, document everything, and execute with minimal disruption to end users. That approach has carried through every project I've owned.
Outside of enterprise infrastructure, I stay current on cloud-native endpoint management, Intune advanced configuration, PowerShell automation, and NIST security frameworks. I'm based in Tampa, FL and available for senior-level infrastructure and migration roles.
